Cozy Hillside Cottage with Views in Simpson Bay

It was a nice spot to stay in if you are fit and able to walk up the hill to the apartment an it has a beautiful view of Positive: It was spacious enough for two people and live freely around the apartment Negative: The bathroom had stains on all the walls and the floor was not cleaned properly as well as it not being advertised properly. They say they have a washing machine and dryer but there wasn’t anything in the apartment. They also don’t mention that you live below a long term rental where you can hear everything they do through the roof.The silverware was cheap and blunt

L'appartement n'est pas pour tout le monde, ajouter un avertissement dans la description de Booking Positive: La vue est belle mais il y a beaucoup de moustiques. L'appartement est confortable, propre, bien équipé, modernisé. Il faut avoir une auto pour s'y rendre. Ce n'était pas dans nos plans de louer une auto pour la semaine. Le traffic est effrayant à Saint Martin, la pollution aussi, les plage sales. Negative: L'emplacement se trouvait sur une colline très à pic, impossible d'accéder ce qui nétait pas expliqué dans la description sur Booking.com. A l'arrivée on a eu besoin de deux taxis parce que les taxis refusaient de monter la colline. Même les taxis évitaient cette location. On est des personnes âgées, j'ai cru que j'allais mourir en montant la colline sous le soleil brûlant. À l'arrivée ils ont changé le code pour entrer dans l'apartement. La locataire de l'étage nous a aidé en téléphonant la propriétaire sinon on attendait je ne sais combien de temps La télé marchait mal. Pas de séchoir pour les cheveux. Du bruit de discothèque et d autos musicales les nuits de fin de semaine. Après avoir payé on a su que sa prenait une voiture 4 par 4 pour accedair l'appartement.

This apartment is great for one or two persons, very well equipped with an absolutely spectacular view on the marina and the lagoon that you can enjoy from the terrasse, day and night. The apartment is however vey noisy from the street below with the sirens and the bars at night and sometimes from the people who live above. You will need a good car and tires to access the apartment on top of the hill with a long steep access which becomes slippery if it rains. If you like planes, you will be well served as they all pass above just after take-off (with the noise that comes with it). Have a great stay!
